What is on the shelves- Thanksgiving

The last couple of weeks of November, we will be working on a Thanksgiving theme.  Here are some of the works we have on the shelves now.

Tot School- Primary Colors

I've started teaching Little Man his colors, so I made him these boxes.  I found the boxes at Michael's and painted them the Primary colors then I looked for things to put into each box that went with that color.  I still need to add some more things to each box.  I am thinking I would like to find some things that have some different texture to them, so I am waiting to raid my mother's fabric bins and other boxes she has at her house.

November Sensory Tub- Farm

The first 2 weeks of November we are focusing on Farms so our Sensory Tub reflect our Farm theme.

What's inside:  corn, shovel spoon, 2 green tubes, large turkey, and farm animals from a toob.  I usually buy the Safari Toobs from Michael's with one of their coupons.

This Sensory bin has been a huge hit with both of my children.

What's on the shelves for November- Farm Days!!

I've noticed that if I don't change things up on the shelves more often then DD will not want to work so I am changing every 2 weeks.  For the past 2 weeks we have been talking about Farms.  Here are the works on our shelves.  You can find the here.

                                           3 piece puzzles

                                 Adult and baby farm animals

What different farm animals make.  This one was interesting for my DD to do.  She was quite surprised at the duck being in her pillow.

I got this puzzle and another farm puzzle from the Dollar Tree.

I've had this Little People's farm for a while.  DD actually had this out on our regular shelf and didn't really play with it.  This time DD and DS have loved the farm and the animals.

The first week I had out these old farm toys (these were my toys as a kid).  DS loved the horse and the carriage.  He still likes to get it out.
